Just a quick comment.  There is enough money in PBeM to make a living,
if you have something new, original, and professional.  There is not
enough to buy a new car every year, or $200K houses.  Heck, I don't think
it's enough to rent a reasonable apt in New York, but it will pay the
bills if you are dedicated.
  Remember PBeM players are loyal.  Some of them even border on the
fanatical for the better games, but they have to see that you are going to
give quality, not just in the game, but in the customer service as well.
  Just make sure you are in for the long haul.  Every company that
apppears does a game for 3 months, then dries up does the hobby far more
harm than good, since it always means players left in the lurch.
