I think once a week is far too frequent even if highlighted as an ad.  Once
a month possibly, but I think once every 3 months is more reasonable.  If
we were having ad's apear every week from the same companies I think we
really would need a rec.games.pbm.announce

The ads most of us don't mind to see are the informative types that
announce something that might interest the hobby and don't continually plug
the same product week in week out which would very quickly cheese off the
most ardent ads supporter.
