Some people look for ads. From: Sam Craig <samcraig@io.com> Date: Mon, 30 Jun 1997 00:00:00 +0000 Thats right. some people actually come to these pages looking for ads. Odd, you say? Coming to rec.games.pbm to find a game to play? Well your right; it is a baffling concept. <SARCASM> Please note: I do not run any games. I have never run any games. I am not, in any way, associated with the evil godless infidels who put ads on this group. And yet I don't mind the ads. Psychic ads have no place here. Teen sex ads have no place here. But I cannot imagine any problem with someone saying "Hey, you're looking for a game? Then check ours out." Comercial or no. It also seems to me that there are alot more people saying it doesn't matter if other people post ads here than there are people posting gripes about them. Not that I'm saying you should post more complaints about this, mind you; I think this has gone on far enough. Way too far, way too long. Let it go. These arguments take up (ALOT) more space than the advertisers do. And any advertiser who pays attention to this group will know to keep his announcements to a minimum. ANY ADVERTISER WHO DOESN'T PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT PEOPLE SAY ON THIS GROUP ARE "NOT" GOING TO KNOW YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT IN THE FIRST PLACE AND SO YOUR COMPLAINT WILL FALL ON DEAF EARS!!! Except for our ears of course... The people who actually have to suffer through the needless postings. Not advertising postings, mind you; complaints about advertising postings. Thats right, you're the ones who are irritating the readers of this group. Suprise:) Referenced By Up
