Not many GM's that I've seen do more than that, so I consider >> the ongoing "debate" to be rather pointless. > >Thank you for your support, Phil. You're right, the entire debate has >been around whether or not adverts could be posted only once or not. >I never realized you had such a moderate position on the issue. That is inaccurate. The entire debate has been whether or not a single game could be advertised only once or not, not individual ads. The intent has been to level the playing field. For instance, Ken here (and this get's fuzzy in the current FAQ) can either post a single ad ever, for his Magazine, or he can post an ad for each issue. The current FAQ can be read either way and it is difficult to say what the spirit of the FAQ is in this case.. Meanwhile, Phil is allowed one ad per game, for the lifetime of that game. Period. If it is an on-going game a few years old, he is stuck hoping that people remember the ad posted about the game in 1994. When paraphrasing the other side's argument, please be accurate. I know how much it upsets you when you are misrepresented. Eagle Sol III Game Master Sol III Play By E-Mail Role Playing Game http://members.aol.com/soliiigm/ Friends come and go. Enemies accumulate.
