I would like to invite players to a a play by e-mail in the world Espiriticthus, a Christian vision of a fantasy world without sin. I will be running a home-brew system and world; players will have the option of dealing with numbers directly, or only describing with words. Materials describing the game, world, etc. in detail are on my home page at http://www.imsa.edu/~jhayward/; the single most concise and complete introduction to the world, races, kinds of adventure, etc. are in the player's introduction at http://www.imsa.edu/~jhayward/general.html. I intend for the game to be one of textured social role play, puzzle solving, and heroic quests. Players should be able to provide detailed, textured characters, and describe what they do. For potential characters, I would like to know name, personality description, a description of talents/skills/strengths/weaknesses, and a personal history. Power level, items, etc. are dealt with in the player's introduction and the mathematical model. I will tentatively set turn duration and frequency at one or two per week: weekend (probably Saturday), and maybe midweek (Wednesday). Player actions will be due two days after I send out the turns.
