I've changed things so that battles cannot occur in the starting cities anymore; too many long-term mages were lost due to player error. Still, be careful with those hostile settings! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -1 runesword... -2 runeswords... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have a suggestion: The ability to NAME and DESCRIBE cities,towns and villages. This of course would by the faction on GUARD. This may result in a city changing names depending who has taken the city last. Which was common in many periods of warfare The ability to do so would then allow factions to name and describe their capitals, production centers etc.. It would give put more at stake when an opposing faction assaulted the capital of an opposing faction. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To all of Atlantis I wish to publicly announce the completion of a land deal between The Black Hawk Society and 3 units of U.N.C.L.E. in the province of Little Eden. Factions 162, 163 and 173 completed an agreement with faction 148 and I thank them very much. The agreed upon payment has been completed as well. He had to force himself to be quite as Lazarus prepared Rommel's rotting body for the rituals, wrapping much of the body like a mummy and scribling strange fearful runes on what skin that showed. At long last Lazarus spoke, "All is ready. Ask your questions quickly for I don't know how long it will last. It could be minutes or it could be months, that is just the nature of necromacy." Rastlin nodded his readyness and Lazarus began the spell. The room instantly darkened although the sun shown brightly outside. Strange whispers could be hear from all directions then moans of ultimate depair or longing. As Lazarus had warned listening to the sounds too closely would allow a spirit of the dead to possess him. He could feel the spirits trying to slip into his mind. Rastlin grasped his amulet for protection and concentrated on the task at hand. Suddenly the all sounds stopped and strange black wind rose spinning around the edges of the room. Rommel's body which lay upon a black alter stired and sat up. Hesitantly Rastlin questioned, "Rommel?" The body responed with insane cackling. Gathering his courage Rastlin stepped forward holding up the lastest report of troop movements on the SEP front. "Rommel, we need your help for one last battle." The cackling continued, one eye rolled back into its head or occationally focused on Rastlin or Lazarus. But the other eye, now mostly white, focused with unnatrual intensity on the report. When Rommel, no, Rommel's body spoke Rastlin lost his nerve and quickly stepped back. "Here is what you must do", it said and continued to lay out a plan for the final assault upon SEP.
