Pollux is a game a little like VGA-Planets and Stars!. Files are being exchanged between host and player. Orders are done centrally at the same time for all players. You can also register Pollux for about $30, but that is not necessary to try the shareware game. Files are exchanged using UUEncode or Mime. About the game I am going to host: 1) 3 turns per week, monday, wednesday and friday 2) Players names will not be made public 3) Starting distance is Long (<100 lightyears) 4) It will start as soon as I get tired of waiting for more players 5) I will play myself. 6) Players will come from both Fidonet and Internet 7) Host 1.25 will be used throughout the whole game (2.0 will not be used even when released) bugs will be corrected if necessary (I have the sourcecode!) 8) Victory when one player is left or one player has explored 75% of all planets. 9) Players not playing for 10 turns will be registered as dead (in the game).
