TribeNet: Setting up my first village... From: Patrick Travers <ptravers@flash.net> Date: Tue, 12 Aug 1997 00:00:00 +0000 I'm thinking that I will be starting on my first village next turn and hope some more experienced players will give me some hints. Is it best to: a) Dig a ditch first? b) Build the meeting house first? a) Build log walls at first and then build stone walls, or b) Skip the log walls and go straight to stone? a) Build an apiary, b) or refinery first? Should (can?) I build a jetty into an adjacent lake? The rules say that a village with a jetty does not have to have a well or cistern, but it refers to a jetty into a river, not a lake. How many gates are best? You automatically get a gate in sector one...
