Only email is affected - I still have >Internet / Newsgroup access. One of my gamemasters has this problem - he travels, and so uses usa.net as a maildrop since it's available wherever he can get to a browser. Unfortunately, usa.net is about as reliable as Amtrak (which leads one to the logical conclusion that Amtrak should be free and pay for itself with billboards on the train, but that's neither here nor there). At any rate, the problem is fairly well solved on the Phoenyx: we echo almost all of our lists to a web-based reader, so the past two weeks' worth can be read online. So: one of two solutions. Get a hotmail account (I gather they're more reliable, but they commit the crime that usa.net now does: append a stupid ad sig to your message), or look into the Phoenyx, http://www.phoenyx.net . -- Karen Cravens | Phoenyx PBeM RPG Listserver: majordomo@phoenyx.net silver@phoenyx.net | http://www.phoenyx.net/ | Home of free mailing lists for PBeM games Sic semper telecommunicatis.
