The layout is in the future, where a few colonies have been colonized and you enter as a new family looking for power. The homeworld is getting closer and closer to the limit of what the resources of the homeworld can take and you are bound to go and explore the stars to meet the demand to keep down the population boom and the to keep getting resources enough to survive.
