ABM News.. From: bosox@earthlink.net (bosox) Date: Fri, 07 Nov 1997 00:00:00 +0000 ABM News.. 11-7-97 ***It's A Crime! Game #1 continues to fill up. I have already entered 65 gangs. We still need 49 players to get the game underway. If you think you'd like to grab a gang or two, please email me so i can hold a spot for you. We sent out over 227 setups and we expect to be overbooked by the end of next week. If we get more than we need, I will begin setting up Game#2. *** Quest: PBEM. Game #7 has been running for 2 weeks now and is taking off a lot better than we could have expected. We have lost a lot of ground to Aussie Quest, but we feel in time we will be as good at processing and running Email games as them. This ABM's very first Email game of any sort. Our Web and tech guys are already underway working on porting over It's A Crime!, Isle of Crowns and Monster Island over to email. They expect something solid within the next 3-4 weeks. ***Monster Island. We are approaching the 1 Year Anniversary of the opening of the Zargnoth Region. Players currently over in the region are battling numerous vile & vicious creatures as well as traveling the newly built, Zargnoth Railway System. The railroad connects all Far Towns in the Zargnoth Region and the new high-priced goods are easily shuttled around to make a serious amount of money. I have begun a small contest where players in different parts of Monster Island can hunt 1 of my 3 monsters and possibly win an exclusive God Shield only available at the cost of my death. ***Isle of Crowns. IOC Game#2 is approaching it's 17th of 20 weeks. At last look, Chris DeArmand was still in the lead over Ken Brown & Ted Frick. Good luck guys. It's going to be a heck of a 4 week race! ***Other Notes: I wanted to take a moment to thank Ken Mitchell of, "The PBM Report", for the very nice write-up in Issue#2. It mentions the launch of Quest: PBEM and The first game of It's A Crime! in nearly 6 years. Thanks Ken! Also, ABM is currently working on a new game. I am sworn to secrecy at the moment, but i should have some info i can give out very soon. Our goal is to create the first ever totally Internet-Interactive PBM game. The game won't be email and it won't be play by mail. It will be input, processed and sent right from our web site. You will have full color maps, online data entry, chat rooms, etc. More info will follow as soon as i here anything. Take care & Good Gaming, --Keith ABM,Inc Referenced By Up
