Welcome to World of Chaos!

This RPG is *very* loosely based in the Rifts megaverse with elements of
cyberpunk, horror and fantasy all merged into one game world.

When the End came, we stubbornly endured.  Some in the gilded, walled
cities.  Some in the rural towns.  Some in the shadows and corners of the
world.	Many of us are human.  Several of us are a little more than human,
or a little less.  A few aren't human at all.  It doesn't matter.  We
can't afford to be picky any more.  Realities and horrors spill forth from
the Rifts to tempt and terminate us.  But a few of us remember� There was
a better time.	A time before the Chromatic Kings waged their war for
control of the universe.  A time before they dug holes in the fabric of
reality itself.  We can find that time again, with your help.

Join us, seal the Rifts, and secure our future.

After a cataclysmic war, multi-dimensional portals called Rifts opened all
over the Earth.  Legendary magic and monsters became real.  Dimensional
Beings discovered Earth was a nexus allowing travel to and from the
megaverse.  They converged on the ravaged planet, wreaking havoc and
chaos.

In the aftermath of The Fall, mankind arose in a new civilization.
Mythical and dangerous creatures have mingled with the humans.	Cowboys
and werewolves fight alongside mechwarriors and cyborgs.  Mutations and
denizens from other dimensions live and die side-by-side in the constant
struggle to either control or destroy the Rifts.

Powerful D-Bees called the Chromatic Kings have chosen Earth as their
battleground for supremacy over the megaverse.	 There is a delicate
balance of power in the struggle to
control the Rift nodes that criss-cross Earth without destroying them in
the process.

World of Chaos is played on a forum.  It is for 18+ only.  It is an
open-ended storyline.  No dice rolling.  We would like to add 1 or 2
players at a time.  The preferred posting pace is 2 to 3 times per week.
We are looking for experienced simmers.  Our focus is on character-driven
stories and quality writing.  There is an online Application on the site.
