Flagship #71 From: Ken Mulholland <Flagship@flagship-uk.demon.co.uk> Date: Sat, 24 Jan 1998 00:00:00 +0000 Hi to all, The latest issue of FLAGSHIP is out now. It's issue 71 and the first with Carol Mulholland as the editor. We're not losing Nick Palmer - he's staying on as Consultant Editor and a regular contributor. I'm planning to keep the established pattern of indepth reviews, game diaries, player input and news from across the hobby; no great changes there. Chris Dickson continues his sports coverage, Kerry Harrison is providing an American column and Kain an RPG column. 71's a good issue, I think, with well-written articles on Alamaze, Royal Alliances, NSX4, Necromancer and Napoleonic Battles. A little heavy on wargames, maybe, but that's just the way things go. One change is that I've added a column to our listings with a brief description of every game, all 238 of them. (Yes, we've been meaning to do this for ages, but I'd have had to do the work and was blocked on the thought of drafting a letter asking GMs to classify their games. So I've craftily avoided this by working down through the list myself.) Comments, questions, helpful suggestions all welcomed! Carol P.S. Has anyone seen the November, December, or January issues of GWF monthly? Or the December issue of GWF? We haven't - Ken. Referenced By Up
