Heroic Roles for Fantasy PBEM From: Phillip Lenhardt <philen@ans.net> Date: Thu, 02 Apr 1998 00:00:00 +0000 I am still working on a fantasy pbem and I have somewhat decided that players will have to choose a role for each of their characters. Currently, I have the following roles: Mage Merchant Cleric Ranger Rogue Sailor Warrior Their purposes should be fairly obvious. Note that there is no role for Builder or Lord. This is on purpose. I have decided that any role can be a "Lord" (ie own property, tax, etc.) and the building (eg forts, cities, swords, catapults etc) is not an "heroic" role.
