Middle Earth Riddle - Answer Required From: jason@hoofa.demon.co.uk (Jason Ayers) Date: Fri, 10 Apr 1998 00:00:00 +0000 Greetings All Tolkien & PBM Gurus, Since "The Mouth of Sauron" (A ME-PBM newsletter) has gotten lost into the midst of time there is no longer an archive of Riddles based on Middle Earth. With the lauch of the 4th Age ME-PBM Game new riddles have started to surface and we have struck a blank on one of these. I challenge all you Tolkien fans to come up with the solution. The Riddle reads: Honored by this Elven name a male named for him just the same His honor wained as time went by till his surrender to the lidless eye We have tried "Curunir" in reference to Saruman - WRONG. We thought it might be "Denethor", but I am not convinced. I am certain that someone knows the answer. Please email me with your thoughts, Jason Ayers =========================================== ME-PBM Game #41 4th Age - UK Edition. =========================================== Referenced By Up
