Culture Shock Interactive Story PBeM From: svermill@bangornews.infi.net (S. Vermillion) Date: Thu, 23 Apr 1998 00:00:00 +0000 The story unfolds around the campus of a large-sized university, and the surrounding community. To most, this may seem a typical University and college town. To others, something is not quite right. There has been a large trend towards apathy at the University, with a large sector of the student body occupied with more than scholatic pursuits. Society blames "Generation X." Would you accept that as a reasonable answer? This PBeM is an interactive story with specific events that lead to a predetermined ending. Your role in this game will be to observe events, decide actions, and interact with other characters. You will be given clues through the actions of both playing and non-playing characters that will trigger these events. The purpose of this PBeM is for players to explore their characters, and to develop their creative skills -- no dice rolling will be involved. There will be one turn a week. Each turn will be published by Tuesday and character moves are due by Saturday. If your turn is not in by Tuesday, you will be written out that turn. If you miss two consectutive moves your character will be dropped. Please see the webpage for further information and Character guidelines. www.bangornews.infi.net/~svermill/culture.htm ** NOTE: We've had an overwhelming response to character four. The chances of entering the game as characters 1-3 are greater. Up
