I would recommend staying away from Legends. I tried it a little over a year
ago and found the entire experience to be alot of work and frustration (and
the LTE did little in the way of making things easier). I am currently playing
Odyssey which is similar to Legends. Odyssey seems to be somewhat less complex
than Legends and they have a computer program which checks your turn orders
for errors and sends you a report of these errors so that you can fix them and
resubmit if you want.

Odyssey is run by Gamers Den (www.den.com). They have a solo game which you
can play at your own pace (almost literally - you send them your orders, they
send you an error report within 5 minutes, you send them an e-mail telling
them to run your turn, they send you your turn results within 5 minutes! the
game is 100% computer run). It's great for learning the mechanics of the game
and understanding what is important in your set-up before jumping into a
multi-player Odyssey module. And the solo game only costs $1 per turn.
