Q: When a player would like to attack a ship, the attack ship order asks for the ship number. Is this number the "SR-###" or just the Last three ###? Also, do Outposts have production and demands? If they do, how do we find this info out? A: When entering the AS order, use just the three digits for the account number. Do not use "SR-" as part of that number. As far as outposts are concerned, their location and current economic values are only attainable by going there and docking or by getting the information from someone who has done so. In fact, in order to eliminate confusion, we are eliminating the "SR-" portion of all account numbers. It has become unnecessary to use the "SR-" prefix since programming changes were implemented a long time ago. Account Number Confusion by Asa de'Ratte Earth, Sol - Due to some unusual confusion about how account numbers are handled in mission orders, Imperial Customs has decided to change the account number system for spaceship tracking and designation. "There was a time when we needed to distinguish between account numbers for Smuggler's Run and another simulation we had going, but that has long since past." said chief programmer Vee-Bee-50 of the Imperial Division Of Microsciences And Artificial Intelligence. The new system simply eliminated the "SR-" prefix to all account numbers, rendering them as simple 3-digit sequences, from 001-999. "This simplifies everything for the dense minded." said Vee-Bee-50.
