Eric - Years ago Flagship magazine used to produce a Who's Who in PBM
guide but does not do so today. There were separate versions for the US
and the UK; each was put together by a volunteer.

The UK one was discontinued when the guy who was organising it sat on
the material for months before he decided that he didn't have time to
complete the job. The material he'd gathered was well out of date by
then, and it turned out that he'd been using his own home-written
software. It seemed easier to cancel the project with refunds than to
try to revive it.

Each issue UK Flagship lists all UK/European firms/games that it knows
about with a coding to show the themes of each.

Flagship is currently collecting material for a UK newcomers' guide
which will include brief descriptions of games, but aren't trying to be
exhaustive - we'll just feature games whose GMs wish to be included.

Carol's Complete Guide to PBM listed all known UK games in full, but
that was published in 1992, some time ago.
